About the Event

On June 10, 1985, W.A. Criswell preached his now-famous sermon, “Whether We Live or Die,” powerfully challenging Southern Baptists to reject the deadly path of liberalism threatening to destroy the SBC. Now, four decades later, it’s a new generation’s responsibility to fight for faithfulness and make that same choice to live, grounded in biblical truth, both for the future of the SBC and America.

Join the Center for Baptist Leadership on June 10, 2025, for an evening of exhortation, encouragement, and fellowship that will equip Southern Baptists to “hold fast” to our Confession with courage. Our exciting keynote speaker and incredible panelists will celebrate the gospel work of SBC churches, lay out a blueprint for how the faithful majority can rebuild the crumbling walls of the SBC, and challenge Baptists to be bold in the public square.

We will also address the top issues facing the SBC right now, including the dire need for financial transparency, reforming rogue entities, and the importance of defending the Baptist Faith & Message by passing the Law Amendment, yet again.
