Peter serves as the senior pastor of Amissville Baptist Church (ABC) located in Amissville, Virginia. Before arriving at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains, Peter worked as an intern at the Bible Church of Little Rock, ministered as a hospital Chaplain at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, and served as the Associate Pastor of Preschool and Children’s Pastor at First Baptist Church Eastman.
Peter earned his Master of Divinity Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2012. Seeking to put his theology into action, he became a certified member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) in 2016. In 2023, he earned a PhD in Church History from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he wrote on the conflict between Martyn Lloyd-Jones and John Stott. Before turning to theology, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and French from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
